I read onRon Gilbert's blog this news today:
First, before I post it, if you don't know who Ron Gilbert is, he's the brains behind the best game ever made, "The Secret of Monkey Island", and the second best game ever made, "Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge". If you don't know what either of these games are, or you have never played them, I'll wait.
No seriously, go play them. I'll be here.
No, really... go play them both.
Okay, good. While he's making Deathspank right now, which looks to be thoroughly entertaining, his other news was good to hear. First of all, there is the re-release of The Secret of Monkey Island coming out for xbox live arcade. That in itself is the coolest thing, or so I thought. He decided to drop the bomb shell of TellTale is doing an episodic story of Monkey Island. They've already had great success with Sam & Max (I really love TellTale's take on it), as well as Wallace & Gromit and Homestar Runner (I played a demo of one of them, it was extremely awesome).
I'm happy. And there is more E3 this week.
